Heat large pan on stove over medium heat
Once hot, add ground turkey meat
Add 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper to ground meat as it browns; stir often

Turn crockpot on desired cook time; I like to choose 6-hours
As turkey meat is cooking, prepare veggies for the crockpot
Dice and seed red pepper and peel and dice 1 red onion (save the other onion for the toppings)

Add diced red pepper and red onion to crockpot
Open can of diced tomatoes and add to crockpot; juice and all
Add rest of dry spices to the crockpot

Mix spices around the tomatoes, red pepper, and red onion
Once turkey meat is browned and has an internal temperature of at least 165-degrees Fahrenheit, drain excess grease and juice and add to crockpot and mix into veggies and spices

Add the 2 cups of water and mix around; you can substitute chicken broth for a little added flavor
